The Leather Protection Cream is a water based leather cream used to condition, protect, nourish and re-instate the aroma into old and new leather items. As leather is used, skin oils, perspiration & grease will slowly start to attack the leather causing it to discolor, crack and peel. This damage can be seen on most items of furniture where a person rests their hands & head, on car steering wheels or the collars of jackets appearing as a dull, dark mark.

Leather Protection Cream provides advanced barrier protection technology to help repel all oil & water based staining from leather helping to prevent the aforementioned problems from occurring. The barrier applied to the leather will also hold general dirt & soiling on the surface making the leather much easier to clean and care for, with the added bonus of also stopping pen marks, dye transfer etc from penetrating the leathers coating.

The barrier also helps stop the dirt from abrading the leather; as you use leather you cause friction that slowly starts to wear the leather coating away. The protection cream acts a barrier between the leather and the dirt abrasions helping to prevent premature wear & tear.

Simple to Use

STEP 1.

Shake bottle well and apply to the leather with a soft cloth.

STEP 2.

Rub sparingly into the leather in a circular motion.
Note: Applying a little will match the sheen of your leather; if you apply more it will enhance the shine on the leather.

STEP 3.

Leave for 10 minutes and then buff over with a cloth. It is crucial to buff this product for best results

Your leather will now be thoroughly protected. If you have Aniline or Pull Up style leather you should apply two coats of Leather Protection Cream for best results.

This is one of the project we have never attempted before, re-dyeing leather. Happily everything about this product is as advertised, and it works. We were given a leather sofa, love seat, and chair from a work colleague. We were looking for some higher end leather furniture for our TV room, but just could not afford it. My friends set was worn, but was a Steelcase brand set, which is usually well made. This set, seven years old my colleague said, was showing some age signs. I had seen several of these restore kits advertised, and I decided on the Furniture Clinic product because of its UK origin and good reviews. I bought the kit which included the leather cleaner, dyeing balm, and conditioner, rag and dye sponge. The intent of these three items is to use them end to end. Meaning clean the leather, dry with a microfiber cloth or similar, use the dye balm, dry and buff again with a clean microfiber cloth or towel, then condition. Only step that we had any issue with was the last. Don’t work ahead, if any of the conditioner sets for a minute or two before you wipe down the recently died leather, it will take the dye off. We rented a storage space to work in because we did not have room at home. Other than the one issue with the conditioner, it works like it says. Great product, the kit was enough material to do all three items. I would highly recommend the product.
