Fantastic product

As a professional remodeler, I frequently have to repair small areas of flooring, cabinets and more. This product is the best I have used for the purpose- you fill the area, and then mix the colors to achieve a match. Furthermore, you can create grain effects, whorls, even fake knots to make your patch blend in perfectly.

My wife supervises my work, and she couldn't even find my last patch until I pointed it out!

A couple of things-
#1: Don't count on sanding the filler. You risk damaging the surrounding area. Instead, fill the area then take a long, very sharp razor blade and shave down the surface to match the area around it before it sets. You can also then cut in gentle grain patterns as you want.
#2: Have on hand several extra brushes. It makes mixing and touching up much easier. Artist-style fine tip brushes work best and allow you to make color marks and adjustments for matching surrounding patterns.

Take time to match the color and you won't be disappointed

Take your time to get a near perfect color match! I used the color guide to start, but the undertone didn't quite match. I kept adding little bits of yellow and blue until the match looked near perfect. Then I did some tests on the bottom and quickly realized that the color dries much darker. I gradually added white and patch tested until I got a color that blended in completely.

I took a lot of time to fix all the rips and HOLY MOLY IT WAS WORTH IT! The result looks great and I don't think anyone would notice unless I pointed it out.
